Who we are

At EverGrace Cotillion, we believe learning social skills, confidence, and respect opens doors far beyond the ballroom. Our program serves all youth (5th–8th grade), teaching life skills that help participants succeed in school, friendships, future careers, and community involvement. We focus on kindness, empathy, communication, and confidence—preparing participants not just for special occasions, but for everyday interactions.

EverGrace Cotillion was founded in 2025 by Gracelyn Thrash, a lifelong participant and leader in cotillion programs. Gracelyn grew up attending cotillion from 5th through 8th grade, later supporting Dogwood Cotillion in high school and serving as a co-director for two seasons.

Her own experience shaped her college and career success, from joining the Honors College at the University of Georgia to building meaningful mentorships and professional opportunities. Early lessons in introductions, handwritten notes, and dining etiquette gave her confidence in any setting—from interviews to special events.

With years of teaching and mentoring, Gracelyn saw an opportunity to bring these lessons to North Gwinnett. EverGrace Cotillion blends tradition with modern, practical instruction, helping participants build confidence, character, and connections that last a lifetime.

Gracelyn Thrash

Founder & Director

Originally from Marietta, Georgia, Gracelyn now resides in Sandy Springs. She is a proud graduate of the University of Georgia, where she earned her B.S. in Family and Consumer Sciences and was a member of the Honors College. During her time at UGA, Gracelyn was an active leader in her sorority and served as an Executive Leader of a campus community outreach organization, experiences that shaped her leadership and service mindset.

By day, Gracelyn works with the American Cancer Society, specializing in event planning and community engagement. She brings that same talent for hosting, organizing, and creating meaningful experiences into every cotillion gathering.

Outside of work, Gracelyn enjoys pickleball, tennis, crafting, and playing piano—always finding ways to make each event both polished and memorable. With a heart for service and a love of tradition, she leads EverGrace Cotillion with warmth, creativity, and a vision to prepare participants for success in every stage of life.

The Origin of our Name…

Elegant graphic design spelling 'Ever Grace' with stylized fonts and a minimal beige background.

The name EverGrace Cotillion reflects both timeless elegance and lasting impact.

  • “Grace” honors the qualities we hope to instill in every student: poise, kindness, confidence, and thoughtfulness in every interaction. It also subtly reflects the name of our founder, Gracelyn Thrash, who is passionate about helping youth develop these skills.

  • “Ever” represents the enduring nature of the lessons we teach—social skills, confidence, and life skills that students carry with them long after the program ends.

Together, EverGrace conveys a commitment to nurturing graceful, confident, and capable young people, equipped to navigate both everyday moments and special occasions with skill and self-assurance.
